Intec was born in 1983, from a group of people that had identified in the oenological market, the requirement to supply oenological and biotechnological products, from a technical and scientific point of view.

Intec has always given particular attention to the research and the quality control of its products. The research carried out in the laboratories at San. Giovanni, Lupatoto ( Verona) and the collaboration with laboratories of Italian and foreign institutes of research, has allowed Intec to always develop products and applications which remain at the forefront of oenological technology.  In 2008, Intec was joined by its sister Company Ever, to form a strong alliance covering research, product development and production for an ever increasing range of products.

All Ever Intec yeast products are tested by the "Istituto Agrario di San Michelle All'Adige" who certify the yeast cell viability of each batch manufactured, to ensure winemakers receive the freshest and most viable product.  All batches exceed the OIV European standard of 10 billion live cells per gram of dry yeast.

The Istituto Agrario San Michele promotes and carries out research, scientific experiments, education and training activities as well as providing technical assistance and services to companies. These activities are aimed at promoting cultural and socio-economic growth in the agricultural sector and at developing the forestry and agro-alimentary systems, with particular regard for the environment and the safeguard of the territory of the Trentino region.
As a working organ of the Autonomous Province of Trento, established with provincial law no. 28 of 5 November 1990, the Istituto Agrario has achieved important goals over the years, both at a national and international level, in the fields of research and training.
It was founded on 12 January 1874 when the regional Tyrolean Diet at Innsbruck elected to open an agrarian school together with an experiment station at San Michele for the revival of agriculture in Tyrol. From 1 January 2002 the Istituto has comprised three separate centres: academic, experimental and technical assistance.
