Ascorbic Acid




Commonly known as Vitamin C, used as an antioxidant in white wine production in conjunction with Sulphur additions (PMS or SMS).  Always add Ascorbic Acid after the Sulphur addition.

 

Dose:                50 – 100 ppm (mg/L) with subsequent additions of 25 – 50 ppm(mg/L) at each wine movement.
